Where are my notes?
In your Apioni account. Sign in from any browser and everything is there — the same notes, the same search, the same chat history. Notes are stored as plain Markdown, so what you write is what you get back when you export.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Apioni runs in your browser. Open the app, sign in, and start writing.
What does the AI actually do to my notes?
Two separate things, and you control both. Processing rewrites the note you point it at, at one of three strengths — fixing typos, tightening the writing and structure, or restructuring the piece outright. Your original is kept either way, so a pass you dislike is reversible.
Understanding runs underneath: each note is broken into atoms — the smallest self-contained statements — and the people, projects, books, and events inside them are pulled out, tagged, and linked to the atoms they relate to. That is what makes search find a note by meaning rather than by the words you happened to use.
Why does chat sometimes refuse to answer?
Because it only answers from your notes, and it will not fill a gap by guessing. Every answer names the atoms it came from, so you can open the source and check it. When your notes do not contain enough to answer, it says so instead of writing something plausible.
Can I get my notes out?
Yes, and without asking us. Export any note as Markdown from the editor — it is the same plain .md that any other editor reads.
What is free and what is paid?
Free covers unlimited notes, sync, and search. Pro raises how much AI processing you can run each month. Both are laid out on the pricing page.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
Any time you like — changes take effect on your next billing date, and your notes stay exactly where they are on any plan. Email contact@apioni.com and we will take care of it; if a charge looks wrong, we will sort that out too.
What do you store, and why?
Your account email, your notes, and what the AI derives from them — that is what makes sync, search, and grounded answers work. Our Privacy Policy is the full account of what is stored, where, and how to have it deleted.
